Privacy Policy

1. About this policy

This policy applies to the Wear Darts application for Wear OS, package com.aceitai.weardarts. For privacy questions or support, contact admin@aceit-ai.co.za.

2. Information collected or shared by the app

Wear Darts does not collect or transmit personal information to the developer or third parties. The app contains no advertising SDK, analytics service, tracking SDK or account system, and it does not request internet access.

The app does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, health information, payment card details or advertising identifier.

3. Information stored locally

To support offline play, Wear Darts stores the following in application-private storage on your watch:

• Settings, such as sound, music, haptics, sensitivity and visual preferences.
• The active match, including mode, players, scores, dart positions, turn progress and remaining challenge time.
• Local statistics and achievements, such as wins, averages, checkouts and bullseyes.

This information is used to run the game, show your progress and resume an interrupted match. Wear Darts does not upload it or synchronize it with a developer-operated service. Android cloud backup and device transfer are disabled for the app.

4. Wrist sensors and vibration

When wrist aiming is active, Wear Darts uses the watch’s rotation sensors to move the aiming reticle. Raw orientation readings are processed in memory for gameplay; they are not recorded, sent to the developer or used to identify you. The resulting dart positions may be saved locally as part of an active match.

The app requests the Android vibration permission to provide optional throw and score feedback. Haptics, music and sound effects can each be switched off in Settings.

5. Retention and deletion

Local settings and progress remain on your watch until replaced through gameplay, cleared through the watch’s application-storage settings, or removed by uninstalling Wear Darts. Starting a new match replaces the saved active match; lifetime statistics remain until app data is cleared or the app is uninstalled.

Because the developer does not receive your local game data, we cannot retrieve or restore it for you. No account-deletion request is needed because Wear Darts does not create accounts.

6. Security

Saved game information is kept in the app’s private storage, subject to Android’s application sandbox and your device’s security controls. Match saves use atomic file replacement to reduce the risk of incomplete writes. Wear Darts has no developer-operated server holding your gameplay data.

7. Google Play and purchases

If you obtain Wear Darts through Google Play, the store handles the transaction under its own terms and privacy policy. Wear Darts does not receive or store your payment card details. The application has no in-app purchases.

8. If you contact support

If you choose to email admin@aceit-ai.co.za, your message and email address will be received so that we can respond. Please include only information needed to resolve your enquiry. Support correspondence is retained only as needed to handle the enquiry and meet applicable obligations. You may use the same address to request deletion of correspondence, subject to any required retention.

9. Children’s privacy

Wear Darts does not collect personal information through the app, including from children. It does not provide chat, user profiles, advertising or online social features.

10. Changes to this policy

If the app’s data practices change, this policy will be updated with a revised effective date. Any future data collection will be described before it is introduced.
